We don't believe that shops have to cut each others throats just to survive, and be prosperous in this industry. Have you ever heard the old saying: there's safety in numbers, don't you think that it could apply here, what if all the shops got to know each other, and all of us knew the areas that our "alliances" were in, it would be easy for us to tell a customer, hey I can do your work, but I know a high quality restoration shop that's a lot closer to you, don't you think the customer would bring the shops closer to them the business if they knew where they were.

It's about time

Why is it that shop owners think that the job that they have in their shop right now could be the last one that they'll ever see, so they begin to go cutting the throat of all the other shops, just give it a little bit of thought, if we all form an alliance and work together we could all have a lot more business in our shops, and I have some ideas for this way of thinking. It's just senseless not to work together to make every bodies shops more successful.
